Join Instructor Steve Pollack, Opera Singer and Lecturer, for a 6-week class on Wednesday afternoon. This course provides a look at the development of Rock and Roll as a tour of the famous cities and regions that helped shape its development with the hot spots of Memphis, New Orleans, Muscle Shoals, Detroit, Philadelphia, Chicago, and England. Our focus will be on the music makers, social influences, and racial overtones that were important to the creation of this very American music.
