Golden Slipper Camp is an overnight summer camp nestled in the Pocono Mountains, providing a top-notch camping facility that fosters a multi-cultural environment while embracing Jewish traditions and values. Generous scholarships are available providing children an opportunity to enjoy a summer experience of a lifetime.
Golden Slipper Gems offers opportunities to connect across the generations. As more seniors remain independent and active longer; lifelong learning, social connection and help with the unique experience of aging allows our volunteers to impact hundreds of lives. We are always seeking volunteers to help register our clients for classes; to help serve lunch at the Center; and to run programs such as discussion groups and games at our sites.
HUNAS provides emergency assistance to families and individuals who are in desperate need in the Philadelphia region. When Golden Slipper Club began in the 1920’s, its early members gave money to families in dire need of necessities, like coal, food, and clothing. Today, many families still need help to meet basic needs like food, clothing, and heat. Join us as we continue to meet the needs of our neighbors.
Golden Slipper Club & Charities invests in the nation’s future, through a robust college scholarship program. This program provides 1-year College scholarships to help ease the towering student debt burden that students and their families face with the high costs of a College education.
Each year, Golden Slipper Club & Charities, in partnership with the Passover League of Golden Slipper, hosts a community-wide Passover Seder for more than 600 seniors and others who otherwise would have no place to go to honor their holiday.
